Another two golden tickets to LIV Golf League up for grabs through Promotions event

2025-11-04

The LIV Golf League has confirmed that it has further expanded its qualifying opportunities for 2026, with two spots on offer through LIV Golf Promotions.

Following the announcement of an increase to two golden tickets from The International Series Rankings this season, the top two finishers from the third edition of LIV Golf Promotions will also earn a place on the roster for 2026.

LIV Golf Promotions will take place from 8-11 January at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida, with four rounds of stroke play over four days in this year's edition, and a prize purse of US$1.5 million.

The tournament format will see a top 20 and ties from the first round progressing to the second round, where scores will be reset and a category of players will join. The top 20 and ties will then progress to day three, where a 36-hole, two-day shootout will commence.

Aside from the two golden tickets, the top 10 finishers including ties will all earn full exemptions onto The International Series for the 2026 season.

Zimbabwe’s Scott Vincent (325.59 points) and Miguel Tabuena of the Philippines (221.19 points) currently sit in first and second place as the series heads into its final two tournaments: the Moutai Singapore Open (November 6-9) and the PIF Saudi International presented by SoftBank Investment Advisers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (November 19-22).

Wide entry criteria will give the Promotions event a truly global feel, and there are a number of ways that players from The International Series can qualify.

The leading 10 exempt players from the top 20 of 2025 Rankings race will gain a bye into round two of the event, with the next 25 available players from within the top 40 earning a place in the first round.

All winners of tournaments on The International Series and Asian Tour's 2025 season will also gain entry to the first round of the event.

Players from The International Series have featured prominently in the previous two editions of the event. In 2023, regular players Kieran Vincent of Zimbabwe and Jinichiro Kozuma of Japan qualified for the 2024 roster alongside former Asian Tour member Kalle Samooja of Finland.

Lee Chieh-Po of Taiwan won the 2024 edition after receiving a second-round bye for winning International Series Thailand, with Hong Kong's Taichi Kho progressing all the way from round one to finish T2.

Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series, said: "Our Rankings race is in full swing and with just two tournaments left, there is still a real opportunity for players to make a challenge and secure a place on this year's LIV Golf Promotions event.

“Players from The International Series have traditionally performed well at the event over the last two seasons, with some real success stories in there such as Lee Chieh-Po, Kieran Vincent and Jinichiro Kozuma, showing the quality players that The International Series and Asian Tour are producing."
