The International Series is the most prized pathway in golf. A set of 10 elevated events sanctioned by the Asian Tour, the series offers golfers from around the world a route to the prestigious LIV Golf League as well as greater prize money and the chance to compete against elite-level fields at world-class destinations around the globe.
The International Series was established through a landmark US$300 million investment and strategic partnership between LIV Golf and the Asian Tour. The inaugural event, International Series Thailand, took place on 3 March 2022 at Black Mountain Golf Club.
Described by then LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman as a 'sleeping giant', the Asian Tour now benefits from 10 events with enhanced purses of at least $2m, providing its members with a diverse schedule of playing opportunities at world-class destinations.
Wider entry criteria ensures a broad spectrum of talent, from local qualifiers and top-rated amateurs through to those at the pinnacle of the sport including Major winners and Ryder Cup legends.
The International Series has staged tournaments in the Asian golf heartlands of Singapore, Indonesia, China, Thailand, and Korea. It has also delivered events in North Africa, the Middle East and the UK - marking historic firsts for the Asian Tour.
