International Series Rankings champion Scott Vincent and runner-up Yosuke Asaji will put their standout 2025 season to the test this week at LIV Golf Riyadh, both pointing to the Asian Tour’s elevated group of events as the platform which sharpened their games and created the pathway to the highest level.
This week marks Vincent’s return to the LIV Golf League for his first full season back, having previously competed with the Iron Heads GC in 2024, now Korean GC. After topping the 2025 Rankings and earning his LIV card back, the two-time International Series champion credited the events’ competitive depth and global venues with preparing him for career-defining moments.

“Playing four rounds definitely helps, especially now that the format has changed,” said Vincent. “Last year gave me perspective. The courses in Asia are phenomenal, the people are amazing, and the competition is very high. For me, enjoying wherever I’m playing is key, it helps me grow not just as a golfer, but as a person.”
After taking a short break at the end of the season, the 33-year-old resumed preparations early in January from his Florida base, keeping his focus simple as he heads into Riyadh.
“The theme has been pretty straightforward, keep working, keep improving and be as ready as possible,” he added.
Despite his LIV commitments, the Zimbabwean is eager to return to The International Series when his schedule allows, with Morocco in June already circled following the release of the 2026 calendar last week.
“All the events are great, but getting back to Morocco, where I have such fond memories and captured a win, and playing on African soil again is something I’m really excited about.”
Joining him in Riyadh is Rankings runner-up and Singapore Open champion Yosuke Asaji, who will make his LIV Golf debut after a season-defining victory that propelled him onto the global stage.
“I’ve been training hard and making some adjustments to my clubs,” said Asaji. “I’m nervous, but in a good way, and really excited to be joining LIV.”

The 32-year-old also credits his International Series win in Singapore for giving him the confidence to believe he belongs at the highest level.
“After that win, I felt I could perform well on LIV while continuing to learn and prepare,” he said.
The Japanese star is already looking ahead to returning to The International Series this season, particularly for International Series Japan which opens the new schedule from 2-5 April.
“It means a lot to have the event in Japan. I’m really grateful and very much looking forward to playing an International Series event at home,” he added.
Asaji also relishes the chance to test himself against new faces on the LIV circuit.
“Everything has been new, which has been a very fresh experience,” he said. “I’ve played with Scott before and really respect his game. I’m excited to meet the other players and compete.”
The International Series is the most prized pathway in golf. It consists of a set of elite tournaments sanctioned by the Asian Tour and offers the year-long Rankings Winner & Runner-Up promotion to the LIV Golf League.
