Korea’s Jeongwoo Ham has surged to the top of The International Series Rankings, which offers a direct pathway to the LIV Golf League through a season-long race, following his pulsating wire-to-wire victory at the Singapore Open presented by The Business Times, capping a breakthrough week at Sentosa Golf Club.

In addition to securing a place at The 154th Open, the 31-year-old’s maiden International Series title sees him leapfrog International Series Japan champion Travis Smyth, moving to the top of the standings with 187.62 points after two events on the 2026 calendar.
Ham, a four-time winner on the Korean PGA Tour, had opened his campaign with a tied-29th finish in Japan before delivering a career-defining performance in Singapore, marking his first victory on The International Series in just his seventh start, including his home appearance in Korea in 2022.
“It feels great,” said Ham. “As a golfer, everyone wants to see their name at the very top of the leaderboard. With the possibility of qualifying for the LIV Golf League, there’s even more to work towards.”
He added: “But rankings go up and down, so I’ll just keep working and stay ready for whatever comes next.”
Australia’s Cameron John has also made a significant move up the standings following his runner-up finish in Singapore, rising to third overall. Competing in just his second International Series start, John now sits 47.81 points behind compatriot Smyth after backing up his tied-seventh result in Japan with another standout performance.

“It’s huge,” said John. “I want to play as many of these events as I can, and a result like this really helps build momentum and get into more events. The opportunity to push towards LIV Golf is massive, and I want to make the most of it.
Japan’s Ryosuke Kinoshita holds fourth place after a tied-second finish on home soil and a tied-33rd result in Singapore, while Thailand’s Pavit Tangkamolprasert rounds out the top five following a similar runner-up performance in Japan and a tied-37th finish this week.
Tomohiro Ishizaka’s strong tied-third finish in Singapore lifts him to sixth in the standings, just ahead of Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond in seventh and American Austen Truslow in eighth.
Fireballs GC rising star Josele Ballester makes his debut on the 2026 Rankings in ninth after a third-place finish in Singapore, while Korea’s Hongtaek Kim completes the top 10.
