## **Phil Mickelson: Success of LIV Golf will be my legacy** When the history of golf since 1990 comes to be written, a significant chapter will be devoted to the exploits of Phil Mickelson. A six-time major winner who spent more than 25 years in the world top 50, Mickelson now performs the role of respected elder statesman with the enduring charisma that made him so popular with golf fans. He was one of the most significant initial recruits to LIV Golf in 2022, and combines his captaincy of the HyFlyers team with a burning desire to bring the game to the next generation of players and spectators.
