The Singapore Open will mark the return of one of Asia’s most historic championships to a former home in Sentosa Golf Club. It was at the event in 2025 that Yosuke Asaji staked his claim for a LIV Golf League spot with a clutch victory over Korea’s Jeunghun Wang. Sentosa Golf Club's Serapong Course will again set the scene for elite competition, framed by views of the Singapore Straits and the city skyline.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Launched in 2022 following a landmark investment from LIV Golf, The International Series is a set of elevated events on the Asian Tour calendar, staged across multiple continents and co-sanctioned by both LIV Golf and the Asian Tour.

The International Series combines elevated prize funds and world-class golf courses with a clear route into the LIV Golf League, while also creating opportunities for players worldwide to qualify for Major championships. It is built as a progression platform, where emerging local talent can compete alongside established international stars and take the next step in their careers.

Players earn points based on their finishing position at each International Series event. At the end of the season, the top-ranked players in the International Series Rankings earn promotion to the LIV Golf League for the following year, with three places available in 2026. Players who finish inside the top 40 in the Rankings can also earn the chance to compete in LIV Golf Promotions, providing another route into the LIV Golf League.

Points are awarded based on finishing position at each event, with bonus weighting for higher-profile tournaments. The Series-ending event, PIF Saudi International powered by SoftBank Advisers, carries elevated points as the grand finale of the campaign.

The Series also offers players from around the world meaningful opportunities to qualify for golf's Major championships, if they finish at the top of select events on its schedule.

72-hole individual stroke play across four days (Thursday to Sunday).

Events feature a mix of LIV Golf stars, Asian Tour members, top local players from the host nation and elite players from tours around the world, creating one of the most competitive and diverse fields in global golf.
