Scott Vincent has his sights set on a quick return to the LIV Golf League after shooting up the rankings table following his emphatic victory at International Series Morocco.
The Zimbabwean, a member of the Iron Heads GC team on LIV Golf for two years after winning the 2022 rankings race, roared to a four-shot victory on the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam's testing Red Course.

He earned his first win since International Series England in 2022 by seeing off a strong field that included defending champion and Range Goats GC star Ben Campbell, plus 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel of Stinger GC.
Two-time International Series champion Peter Uihlein, a team-mate of Cambell’s on Range Goats GC, was also in the field along with a number of Asian Tour champions.
The 33-year-old had lost his place on the LIV Golf League at the end of last season after finishing in the drop zone. This season he had been trending in the right direction with a T5 in the Mizuno Open and a T4 in the Kolon Korea Open.
The win in Morocco was vital given what is at stake – a spot on the LIV Golf League for the end-of-season rankings champion.
He said: “The goal with the International Series is to give yourself a real shot by the end of the year. Winning early helps a lot — it gives you more opportunities to perform well going forward.
“The Series has been great for me. It’s how I ended up on LIV Golf a couple of years ago, so I know what it means. This boosts me up significantly, and we’ll see where it leads. There are still a lot of tournaments left.”

With the victory, Vincent shot up to second in the rankings behind International Series Japan presented by Moutai champion Lucas Herbert, the Ripper GC star.
It lifted him above Carlos Ortiz and Ollie Schniederjans, the International Series Macau presented by Wynn and International Series India presented by DLF winners.
Vincent has six events left to leapfrog Lucas Herbert and cement his place at the top of the standings.
The Indonesian Masters is first up (2-5 October) before two new events on the calendar, International Series Cambodia presented by Royal Group (9-12 October) and International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus (23-26 October).
The Link Hong Kong Open (30 October – 2 November) is next on the calendar before the Moutai Singapore Open (6-9 November) and PIF Saudi International powered by SoftBank Investment Advisers (19-22 November) round off the campaign.
When asked about his LIV Golf ambitions, Vincent admitted: “Absolutely — that’s one of the goals. After stepping back last year and evaluating everything, I realized I needed to improve. The focus now is just on getting better, and I believe opportunities like LIV Golf will come as a result.”
The International Series is the most prized pathway in golf. It consists of a set of elite tournaments sanctioned by the Asian Tour and offers the year-long Rankings Winner & Runner-Up promotion to the LIV Golf League.
