The top-ranked players on The International Series Rankings are all vying for the coveted place on the roster for the 2026 LIV Golf League season. After finishing in the drop zone at the end of the 2025 LIV Golf campaign, an additional six players from the League could also look to compete for vital rankings points and top spot over the last six tournaments of the season. Here are the six who failed to escape the drop zone:

Henrik Stenson
The classy Swede has real pedigree, with a resume that includes the 2016 Open Championship title along with multiple high-profile PGA Tour and DP World wins. The Majesticks GC co-captain also won the LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster in 2022 and made five starts for Team Europe in the Ryder Cup, with 10 wins, seven losses and two ties. Stenson, who finished top of the Fairways Hit stats in 2025, had a season-best T12 at LIV Golf Adelaide.

Andy Ogletree
No stranger to The International Series, the American is a three-time champion on the elevated Asian Tour events. He also claimed the Rankings title in 2023, resulting in a high-profile move onto the LIV Golf League with Phil Mickelson’s HyFlyers GC team. The former amateur world no.1 won International Series Egypt in 2022 and took the honours at both events in Qatar and England in the stunning 2023 campaign that resulted in his dream move. This season, the 27-year-old’s best finish was a T17 at LIV Golf Korea.

Mito Pereira
The Chilean player shot to fame in 2022, when he famously held a three-shot lead going into the final round of the US PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club, and a one-shot lead teeing it up on the final hole of regulation play, only to shoot double-bogey and finish third. The 30-year-old also played one event for the International Team in the President’s Cup. A member of Joaquin Niemann’s Torque GC, Pereira’s best finish this season was a T13 at LIV Golf Chicago.

Anthony Kim
The American has made three appearances on The International Series, competing at the International Series Macau presented by Wynn in both 2024 and 2025, as well as International Series Qatar in 2024. Following a long battle with personal issues and injury, Kim returned to professional golf in 2024 as a LIV Golf wild card. A three-time PGA TOUR winner, Kim was among the game’s standout players in the late 2000s and early 2010s, highlighted by a third-place finish at the 2010 Masters Tournament. This season, his best result on the LIV Golf League came in Dallas, where he finished T25.

Yubin Jang
The Korean player made his International Series debut at the Macau event earlier this year. Jang turned professional in October 2023 and quickly made an impact on the Korean Tour, capturing the KPGA Gunsan CC Open in his debut season. In 2024, he successfully defended that title, added a win at the Baeksang Holdings–Asiad CC Busan Open, and recorded multiple runner-up finishes, securing both the Order of Merit and Player of the Year honours. He joined Iron Heads GC this season, and his best result of the campaign was a T21 finish at the UK event.

Frederik Kjettrup
The Danish golfer marked his arrival on the International Series with a solid T24 finish at International Series India presented by DLF. He turned professional ahead of the 2024 U.S. Open, where he narrowly missed the cut by a single stroke, before making an immediate impact on the PGA Tour Americas by winning his first two starts at the Beachlands Victoria Open and the ATB Classic. Kjettrup went on to claim a third title at the CRMC Championship, finishing second in the season-long points race to secure fully exempt status on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour. He stepped up to the LIV Golf League for Cleeks GC in 2025, recording a best finish of T30 in Mexico City.
The International Series is the most prized pathway in golf. It consists of a set of elite tournaments sanctioned by the Asian Tour and offers the year-long Rankings Winner & Runner-Up promotion to the LIV Golf League.
